4/29/12

Today I had:
  Tropical Fruit smoothie (yes with greek yogurt)
  Salad with lots of bell peppers!
  Cottage Cheese and Pickles
  Double Cheese Burger, pierogies, and lots of Green Beans, Orange and Yellow Carrots, and red bell pepper!
  
Took a real long nap with your Big Brother, and finally got those dishes done I had been putting off, 

4/28/12

So I started a new diet:
Brewer Diet
Breakfast :  Strawberry Banana Smoothie: I add 1/4 cup greek yogurt, 2cups fruit, and water until it blends smooth.
Lunch: 8oz steak and a Organic Spring Lettuce and Spinach Salad with Hard Boiled Egg, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Yellow Bell Pepper, and Light Ranch Dressing
Snack: Pop Corn! (It's a whole grain!!!)
Dinner: 9oz Pan Fried Chicken Breasts, 1 cup Broccoli Tossed in butter, Brown Rice with Butter
Snack: 2oz Dark Chocolate


   I felt soo energetic even eating this much food!

4/27/12

Today I ate:
   Breakfast: 4oz Rib Eye Steak with 2 eggs over medium, 2 pieces of Wheat toast and Fried Potatoes. I had to switch to steak sauce since ketchup is too sweet.. 
   No lunch as I slept thru it after Jared took a most wonderful Nap!
  Snack: 1 orange and 2 veggie chips
  Dinner: I managed to gag down 1 piece of pizza. It was soo yeasty to me. YUCK


  With Matthew I wanted sweets and LOTS of them~
  With Sara I wanted everything!
  With Jared I wanted sweets and Pizza Crust!
  Baby Perz I can't eat sweets and I can't eat pizza crust BOOOOO

Dreams

Dear child of mine, 
      I love you and I love your Daddy but OMG enough with the twin dreams. I can't believe the amount of dreams I had last night once I finally fell asleep. I kept waking up at the U/S reveal when they said twins. Not the best way to get a restful night of sleep I must say. Could I really be pregnant with twins? Guess we still have a long time to wait since I am only 5weeks and 5 days.

The "Ring" Test

  Yes I know its a wives tale but its fun! You tie a string about 12 inches long to a ring. Hold over your stomach and wait. If it starts swinging side to side its a girl! If it goes in circles its a boy! I have also heard the opposite and truly I don't hold this a "true" but its fun anyway. UNLESS... It does both. First the ring started doing the circles! I would love a little boy! But then to my shock it stops and swings back and forth... OK what the heck does this mean?!?!?! Of course Jeff wonderful and funny guy that he says, maybe its twins! OMG I didn't want to think about that! I have a good chance as I have twins on both sides of my family. Now I am getting anxious about my appointment with my OB at 11wks and 5 days. I would be happy with a boy (Liam) or a girl (Deirdra?) and yes even with twins. Waiting until 20 weeks for the gender scan is going to be AGONY!

A new baby is on the way!

  Even though we were not expecting this baby Jeff and I couldn't be happier. We were trying for a while and had finally decided that we were OK with just Jared. I set the appointment to go in and get permanent birth control. I was finally OK with not having a sibling for Jared to grow up with.  

  On April 12th I was late for my period but didn't think anything about it since my cycles had been messed up for quite a while. That night I had a dream that I took a test and it came back positive in seconds. When I woke up I couldn't fall back asleep. I mean really! So I had a test sitting in the cabinet left over from when we were trying to have another. So I took it. It came back negative and I was finally able to calmly fall back asleep. No worries! Jeff and I were only together once and it wasn't "the right time of the month". On the 16th of April I noticed that my hair had stopped falling out and when I measured for new bra's I was much bigger busted than just a few weeks prior. So when grocery shopping I picked up a single test to take in the morning. My appointment was April 18th so I wanted to be reassured. Morning of April 17th I take the test and well there was no denying the results. Positive. I made Jeff look at it to make sure I wasn't imagining it. I did the math and I must have ovulated extremely late in my cycle because I got pregnant 5 days before my period was due. Giving me the Due Date of December 23rd! A Christmas Baby! I will admit I am praying for a boy but I will be happy with whatever I am given.
